Would RecommendUsed it to repair a 22 year old outdoor side mounted light fixture that was in very good condition except for a screw thread that got damaged and allowed the fixture to separate from the mounting base. I JB welded the fixture to the base and now it is more secure than when new! It saved me the cost of buying two new fixtures - Probably $200+ (so both light fixtures on the house would match)

A Versatile Epoxy
Would RecommendExcellent epoxy which does what is advertised. I used Kwik-Weld to secure a hose bib to brick due to the original hole rounding out. It work amazingly well by adhering to the brick and the metal on the hose bib.

Wonderful Sturdy Epoxy
A really sturdy epoxy. Carefully study the applications list before use. To repair polyethylene/polypropylene, first coat the material with a specialty epoxy for plastics, allow to set, then apply this over the first epoxy for a sturdy repair. Great stuff—I use it everywhere, if I can stand the “overnight” curing time.

JB Weld did not weld, this time.
This totally did not work. I made sure I used equal amounts & applied it to an aluminum frame. Waited 2 days for it to cure & the first time I move it, it came apart. According to the salesman, it was the strongest thing Lowes had. Used it before, but it did not work this time. So not happy. Money down the drain.
