Nice HD bit, 3/4 cuts right thru RR ties Need to figure out how to sharpen the bit.

Drill bits

Great bits cut thru wood quick. Have been using the 1in and 7/8 bit for holes while rewiring my sons house have drilled over 100 holes and the are still sharp as day one.

Irwin speed bore bits

I had to drill multiple hole in floor through base 2x4 and these bits made short work of it they out preformed what I expected

Cleaner holes than a spade bit.

Used this set to drill holes in 2x4 studs to run wire. You really need to use a sacrificial board in order for the twist tip to pull it through the board.

Wood bits

Bored real easy with old style bore and bit crank thru posts to help set gates.

Good drill bit set

I had a wood working project and needed circular holes. This did the trick! Will buy again when these wear out.

Woodboring drill bits

They worked as advertised. I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability, but they accomplished what I needed to get done.

They are awesome til the end.

They bore well in harder wood. In the softer woods they do not go all the way through. They get to the end just before cutting though and spin. Need some extra force to go through. Other than that they are great.

Works well, fast, good value for the cased set.

Drilled 20 3/4" holes thru 1.5" MDF. Drilled the holes very fast once I figured out how to properly use it. You need to press the bit into the wood with full continuous pressure to get it to work properly. At first I just used light pressure, but it would just stall it the hole. With full pressure it went very fast.

Super Fast!

These bits are fast! I had to set the drill to the slowest speed and let the bit do it's thing. If I have it on the fast setting, the bit puts more torque on the drill than the drill can handle!

Best set of bits I've bought in a long time

These things are awesome, they did an excellent job of putting holes in fence posts.

Cut thru like butter!!

These bits cut thru the wood like butter with next to zero kick back!!! Would but a entire set in a heartbeat!!
