Would RecommendI needed to mate 2, 2" x 6" by 12' joist using steel bolts. I bought 2 of the bits since I was drilling through 3" of wood for 12 bolts. I didn't need the 2nd bit and was happy with the cutting/drilling speed.

Peephole in Front Door.
Would RecommendPerfect for peephole (Door Viewer) drilling. I was a little skeptical that it would cut a precise hole in my front door. The Lowes rep assured me that it would by fine an it was. It's the cheapest bit you can find to fit a 3/8 cordless. All regular bit start at $10+. This one cost just over $3.50. My front door has an insulation core so I drilled half way on one side an half way on the other.

Would RecommendI drilled 30 holes through 2 X 4s amend it seemed to dull some. However, I was going through the board into gravel and that may have been the cause.
