Perfect for the job
I used this bit to bore out a hole for a couple deadbolts. They just weren’t deep enough to begin with. Got this bit and about 10 seconds for each hole and presto, deadbolt locked all the way!

Irwin paddle bit
Would RecommendIf you are reading this you probably know the purpose. This bit works well goes through wood no problem. I do wish it were a little longer though. Deeper penetration would be better.
