Don’t waste your money

Horrible bit design
Would Not RecommendSomeone changed these bits from a chisel point cutting bit to a little bump if you will… I’ve been doing staircases for 40 years and never had an issue till now, Where is the point on the bits?? Sorry but will never but these , whoever designed these never worked the field…

Bit not as pictured
Would Not RecommendMy older Irwin bits have the edge spurs as pictured, but the new ones do not. I needed a 9/16", which was not in my set, but the store item has slightly turned up edges, no spurs. The spurs reduce the ripout, at the hole entry, and particularly at the hole exit. I suspect the older 5 star reviews had the spurs, and the newer bad reviews do not have them.
