Would Not RecommendThe head of the bit does not have v shaped edges which, it turns out, makes a significant difference in how well the bit cuts into the wood. It takes a significant amount of pressure to cut through even a 2x4.

Disappointing
Would Not RecommendDrilled the first hole in a stump like cutting butter about 10” deep. Took a lot of power. I used a hammer drill and did not force bit. Bit did not get hot. On the second hole bit quit biting at 8”. Bit was dull. I do not feel that I abused bit. I did not have the hammer function turned on, only the drilling function. Bit would not bite to even start another hole.
