Ratings & Reviews for IRWIN Multi-Material 1/4-in x 4-in Carbide Masonry Drill Bit For Rotary drill
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The drill bit performs well for drilling through common household materials like concrete, brick, and softer tiles, making clean holes without damage. However, it may be less effective for tougher materials like porcelain tile, with the bit wearing down or breaking after a few uses. The carbide tip stays sharp even after repeated use, and most customers are satisfied with the overall performance of the tool.

This is for hard metal.
Would RecommendI had a stripped screw that would not drill out with a standard, titanium, or cobalt drill bits so I could get a speed out into the screw. The carbide tipped bit is a killer. Took about 1 minute to do the job.
