It works!

I foolishly rounded my car's oil drain plug using a 12-point socket. After trying several unsuccessful alternative methods, I gave this bolt extractor set a shot. It worked! I wish I would have tried this first.

Worked great!

This worked really well. I had four or five stripped lag bolts and this helped me remove them so I could replace them and complete my project. Easy to use even for a small female.

Ended up buying Power Torque Brand

This did not work for me. Ended up buying Power Torque Brand PTT0020. Superior design and grip.

You need this in your tool box!

I found myself unable to remove a rounded oil drain plug bolt on my car. After wrestling under my car with miscellaneous tools, I decided to give this a shot. I just wish I tried it sooner. It worked easily.

Money Saver!

Bought this set after trying countless ways to get this stripped power steering nut off a rack and nothing worked. This thing gripped it and wouldnt let go. Saved me time and mmey in the long run. Def dont hesitate on buying this set if youre having trouble with rounded nuts and bolts!

Striped bolt no problem

I bought this set after finding my new to me Jeep Grand Cherokee had a striped oil drain plug. I didn’t want to take it back to the dealer and read the reviews and within 5 minutes the drain plug was out and I was on my way. This set it awesome.

Money well spent

Had a frozen caliper bracket mounting bolt that I had spent hours trying to remove. Impact, Kroil, heat, pliers, nothing would work. Even tried to saw it off with a diablo blade. Nope. In less than 5 minutes using the 14 mm bolt extractor the bolt was out. My only regret is I didn't have this set to begin with.

ROunded a 14 mm bolt doing brakes and rotors. This tool made short work of removing the old rusted bolt.

Better than Harbor Freight

Bought set from HF that only rounded the bolt more. This set went onto the same bolt and removed it first try, great design for bitting into the bolt or nut! Highly recommend.

Quick and easy

I’ve never done a review for a product, but this worked so well and so quick, that i had to let everyone know the hype is real. My oil drain plug didn’t look as bad as you’ll see in the other reviews but it wouldn’t come off with out this handy tool set. God bless you Irwin and God bless America.

Money well spent

Bought this as last hope to remove a rusted lawn mower blade bolt that had been put on with a pneumatic impact wrench. Head was pretty well rounded off. Impact wrench, cheat bars, solvents, hammers, and more had failed. Was about to cut it off when I decided to try these. A few hammer taps to start it off and grab the head, and I was able to remove the bolt with a standard wrench. Glad to have these in my tool box.

Awesome kit! Got the job done!

This kit is a life saver. Was trying to remove head bolts from a project motor I've been working on and of course three of the 10 bolts rounded out. Plus I believe the Incredible Hulk must have torqued them down! Original bolts were 12mm (12 point ). This kit tackled it with no problem. I was dreading having to drill it out or possibly visit a machine shop. NOPE! Highly recommend!!

Worked great!

I was replacing a washing machine drum assy. flange bracket and one of the bolt head rounded. I had a different brand of sockets that were supposed to grab the rounded head. They did not work so I bought the IRWIN set and the socket grabbed the bolt without slipping. If I would have had the IRWIN brand it would have saved me a lot of time!

Saved me an expensive headache!

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I had to for this set. I was trying to drop the exhaust manifold in my WRX and came across a nut that was rusted tight and already rounded from the previous owner. I grabbed my 14mm 6-point socket, kept the extension as short as possible and kept the force linear. No luck. I was only contributing to the problem. oil change

As they should, these fit a bit tight Got the dang oil screw / plug / bolt off my 2003 chevrolet malibu no problem. Hours of work in vain solved by this kit.

Fixed stuck bolt in washer

A bolt in my washer was stuck. Due to the limited space I had to use an impact wrench. Unfortunately that stripped the bolt. Bought this kit and the 7/16 bolt was removed easily with the included socket.
