amazing tool

worth EVERY penny you spend on this. had an impossible bolt to remove in a hard to reach spot. it was totally rounded. this pulled it out in seconds with ease!!!!!!

It Works!

I used the 1/2" for a 13mm on a badly chewed oil drain plug. Car sat too low for my breaker bar so used a regular socket wrench and tapped it couple of time with a hammer (I hate tapping wrenches with a hammer but couldn't get the torque any other way). Second tap loosened the bolt. Hardly any damage to the extractor. Great product!

Has Not Worked on Any Automotive Bolt I Have Tried

I bought this set after hearing about it thinking it would be good to have as a just in case. Come to fine out it doesn't work on automotive bolts at all. I have tried several and have had no luck with them on any.

Worked perfectly

I used this to get off some badly corroded nut that were holding a ford battery box down. They worked absolutely perfectly and really saved the day. I highly recommend having this kit on hand.

Worked well

This product worked well on a stripped nut on an exhaust system. Used with a pneumatic wrench. I highly recommend.

Works removing the most difficult stripped bolts.

Wow!

I spent an hour trying vise grips, pliers and hammered-on sockets trying to get a stripped oil drain plug off. I finally gave up and decided to buy this and see if it worked. It took all of 30 seconds to remove the drain plug with its badly mangled bolt head. I can't believe I have gone so long without ever having tried these on stripped bolts.

Never would have change thermostat without it!

All 3 10mm bolts were full of rust and socket was loose. Took me over an hour to free 2 of them. The third didn't make it. Using a six point socket the head eventually started to round. The last bolt is in a spot you can't get to easily down in front of the motor. I bought these and put the 10mm extractor socket on and extension. I wasn't able to hammer it on because the radiator fans were in the way, I wiggled and pushed at the same time to get it seated. I then slowly started putting torque on...

Saved my behind

Did exactly what they were supposed to on a mess of an oil drain bolt. Took 10 seconds to get it off after hammering it on. Amazing

stupid idea stupid tool

14 mm is not the correct size. does not fit on the bolts. requires you to hit with a hammer for many hours with no result.

Saved my booty

I had an engine oil plug that was stuck and I also stripped out the bolt head. I thought I needed to bring it to a shop, but on a last whim research spree, I found this tool and bought it along with a breaker bar and some PB Blaster. The extractor was only able to make it 1/2 way onto the bolt head, but still bit into it and grabbed hard. I was a bit leery going in, but I am now a firm supporter of this tool and product.

Broke socket 1st use (with hand socket wrench)

Socket (16mm) literally broke the 1st time I used it. Used with a hand socket wrench (not power tool) Noticeably thinner wall on the 16mm socket compared to others in set.
