What Customers Are Saying
The drill bits are generally praised for their sharpness, clean cutting ability, and suitability for various woodworking projects. They are described as cutting smoothly through hardwoods and leaving clean, precise holes. However, some customers have experienced issues with the bits becoming dull more quickly than expected, especially when encountering hard materials. There were also a few reports of mislabeled bit sizes. Overall, the drill bits seem to be a quality product, but users should be aware of potential durability and accuracy concerns, especially for more demanding applications.

Would RecommendI used this to make an oversized peg board out of plywood. The bit drilled clean holes without tearout. It got dull before I was done with the 36 holes, however.

Wasn’t sharp, but….
Would RecommendI purchased this new, in unopened package. The bit was very dull upon first usage. I sharpened the bit and it has worked fine since. I have purchased several Forster bits from Lowes, and all were sharp right out of the package. I believe the 2” bit slipped through inspection at the manufacturer’s level (probably on a Friday afternoon).

Safer & more controlled when using.
Would RecommendWanders a bit to start with hardwood. More stable & safer than other types of bits, especially when your sleepy. Have not thought of a good way to sharpen it yet, however lasts much (MUCH) longer than other types for making 1 1/2 inch birdhouse openings. Again it is much safer than other types even though it does cost more, the price is worth it, the hole is smoother also.
