What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this chalk line for its reliability, accuracy, and durability. Reviewers consistently highlight clean, straight lines that snap instantly and resist rubbing off on concrete, wood, and drywall. Many commend the rugged construction, smooth reeling mechanism, and durable string that resists fraying. The intuitive refill system, long reach, and ergonomic grip enable access to tight spaces like attic rafters and engine compartments. Customers frequently note excellent value and longevity, with many stating it outperformed cheaper alternatives. A few mention minor chalk messiness on very long surfaces, but overall reviewers consider it an essential, worthwhile toolbox addition.

It's a snap line
Would RecommendNot as smooth to reel as a more expensive line but fills easily and works. I picked it up on sale and have no complaints. It looks like it will hold up and I wont be too sad if it gets swiped.

Get this one not the all plastic one
Would RecommendI had to purchase this chalk line after getting the all plastic Irwin chalk line. I was roofing a shed and got about a dozen lines snapped before the internal mechanism broke and I couldn’t use it anymore. I picked this model up and it worked perfectly.

Convenient
Would RecommendI moved about a year ago, and couldn’t find any of my 3 chalkboxes. Started building my storage shed, and needed one. The new features in this box makes me glad I bought it. Also bought a 35 ‘ tape from the same Company (Irwin)with many features I’ve been wanting for years!! Large, easily read #’s on both sides, and the end fasteners that can catch either side!Nuge
Great deal!
Would RecommendI have been wanting to replace my last chalk reel but couldn't find one I liked enough to justify the price I would be paying. This one was at a reasonable rate and comes with a refill of chalk that will last me a long time. I'm glad to have this back in my tool box.
