Running phone wire
Would RecommendGreat to bore through wall and pull phone wire back through the hole you drilled. Small whole in woodbore allows you to hook wire to it to pull it through wall with little to know trouble. Works great.

More than a little bit
Would RecommendDrill bit used to drill hole for lamp cord. It worked great and lamp works great. This lamp is a keep sake that was made from raw cedar that he had cut down as it had overgrown the area it was located. He had turned it on a lathe but ran the cord down the side of the lamp which caught on everything. The drill gave me the opportunity to drill the lamp and using a router, groove the base to allow the cord to exit the bottom of the lamp.
