excellent product

Its great love the way it cleans and customer support is excellent. I want to buy an extra battery but the don't offer it ? I would recommend this product to everyone with hardwood floors or tile .

Returned it

Does not clean well. Cannot use soap with it. Misses many areas. Does not always return to start point. Runs out of water with no warning. May be OK for very lightly soiled areas. Cute idea, but poorly implemented.

Not for dark floors and there is no remedy

This Roomba works well on pre-vaccuuumed, light-colored tile, vinyl and marble floors. Don't bother trying it if your floors are dark. It won't even move due to the light sensors which are there to keep it from going down stairs. Live in a single story apartment or condominium with beautiful dark hard-wood floors? You are out of luck. You may spend lots of time with iRobot trying to determine how to work around the light/cliff sensors, but when they tell you they don't reccomend using white tape...

Very limited; Light cleaning only

Works okay... gets light dirt & dust, but even in wet-mop mode, won't remove sticky spots.

Not impressed

Got my Braava recently, and I am not impressed for the following reasons: - Its navigation algorithm is poor, even if placed to the lower-right corner, it starts cleaning erratically if it encounters an obstacle early (but then again, I might be spoiled by some competitor's awesome navigation) - struggles with larger or complex rooms (falls into erratic patterns, cleans same area multiple times and leave other areas uncleaned) - it leaves dirt and liquid in grouts - it is incredible slow - canno...

Great for the price point

If a "swiffer mop" works well on your floor you'll love this device.

A cute toy, but not a real cleaning product

I just tried out the newest Braava Jet 240, and am less than impressed. My expectations were not high, but the robot did not even meet these. First, I realized it would not make sense to use in a large room due to a short battery life and a very small water bin, so I restricted the trial to an entrance hallway (5x10 ft.) My initial intent was to use it in the kitchen, but our floors there are not even due to the texture of the stone, and Braava refused to even start there. So off we went to the ...

Number of not critical design flaws

In general it works good. BUT number of design flaws make you to do preparations which reduces usefulness. 1. Doesn't like floor air vents. It gets stuck. Need to tape vent over to mitigate it. 2. Need physical barriers to isolate or divide room. Virtual Wall mode can't address it fully since rooms can have more than one opening. Plus sometime Braava doesn't respect this Virtual Wall mode. I do not think this robot is for hard cleaning, but is perfect for maintaining a clean floor. I found it especially beneficial for cleaning dusty hardwood floors. Also great on linoleum, and leaves a clean fresh scent.

It's amazing how such a small amount of water can make such a difference with the disposal cleaning pads. It's not going to clean off dried pizza sauce, but it had no problem with even kitty-prints from the litter box.
