Needs a check valve
I never realized that a sprinkler needs a check valve. I bought this sprinkler head to replace one that was leaking only to have the same problem with the new one. I later learned it needed a check valve at the base which is not included.i had to buy it separately.

Ok sprinkler, uneven coverage
Would Not RecommendDecent throw but fairly uneven coverage, leaves a heavily watered ring around the outside, watered area near the sprinkler head, and dry in the middle. I have to run longer than desired to get full coverage. Ended up turning down the range screw to get more uniform coverage (at the cost of throw/distance which is what I really needed). The rain bird 52sa is the best option in my opinion for this type of sprinkler.
