Ratings & Reviews for Hunter Dempsey 52-in Matte Black Flush Mount Ceiling Fan With Light and Remote Control Included
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the sleek, low-profile design with brushed nickel finish and blade options that complement various room styles. Most highlight whisper-quiet operation and smooth motor performance with no wobbling as major strengths. Installation is consistently described as straightforward and DIY-friendly, with remote convenience widely appreciated. However, the integrated LED light draws significant criticism for being too dim, flickering, and inadequate as a primary light source—many say they would rate higher without this flaw. Some report remote reliability issues and occasional motor hum at higher speeds. Overall, most customers recommend despite lighting and reliability concerns.

No longer come with the wall cradle,
i have always bought hunter fans for the bedrooms, you can trust they will run quietly. i was upset that they no longer come with a wall mount cradle for the remote. When I called to see if it was missing I was told i could buy one from them for $12.00. I passed after spending $200.00 I thought a cradle should have been included. Every other fan company includes one with the fan. If I had the cradle included it would have been a 5 star rating.

Dempsey Hunter Fan is Great Buy
The Dempsey Hunter fan looks perfect in our condo. We purchase 3 fans, 2- 44 inches for the bedroom & den; 1- 52 inch for the living room area. There are whisper quite, have a high profile (our old ones has hanging lights.) We have a 9' high ceiling. The remotes are very handy. I don't like that the fan don't have a reverse switch that is easy to change. I have to take the light fixture off, change the reserve switch then replace the lighting fixture. A great buy & wonderful fan.

Great fan but hunter got cheap on the remote mount
Would RecommendWe love the fan. It is attractive and low profile for our small guest bedroom. My only compliant is unlike other Hunter fans we bought with remotes, they provided no wall mount for the remote control. We have no place to put the remote in the room that people will find so now I have to find and purchase a way to mount on the wall near the original light switch in the bedroom.

Loud noise
Would Not RecommendI wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing this fan. Hunter already knew about the noise problem but has done nothing about it.The cost of installation and re-instalation makes prohibitive to replace. I will never purchase another Hunter product ever.

Great basic fan
This is a nice, basic fan with clean lines and a quiet motor. Slightly more difficult to install than some of the other 'quick' connect fans, but still relatively simple to install. Agree with other reviewers that the provided led bulbs are a little dim, but we have it in our bedroom where we have good natural lighting during the daytime, and would only use it at night when we are getting ready to sleep anyway so this isn't a huge issue for us.
