Remote and receiver did not work

The remote and the receivers did not work hired professional electrician to put up the lights just to have them not work. Very frustrating. In addition, your website is not clear The remote control does not come with a way to secure it to the wall

Slim, quiet, and stylish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great choice for our kitchen! We have lower ceilings so this low profile fan was a perfect fit. My partner and I got the old fan out and new one in about 1 hour! Instructions were great, but the screws should probably have been labeled individually. And wow! this is the quietest fan I have used! it’s elegant, sleek, and the remote makes such a difference in usability.

What a disappointment !

I recently bought and installed this fan and am very disappointed in the light. As many have mentioned, it s extremely dim. Even worse, there is a very long delay (~3 to4 seconds) from the time I turn on the wall switch before the light actually comes one. I can’t believe Hunter is okay with this quality of product!! In speaking with Hunter customer care I was told that this is just how the fan light is and that it’s normal. They told me there was nothing they could do.

I got three of these fans and there’s no mount for them to attach to the wall… for as pricey as they are, that’s an odd choice

Great Fan; Poor Hardware and Instructions

This is our second Hunter fan because we like that they are quiet and attractive. We know what we are getting into. I would give 4 or 5 stars if installation was easier and hardware was higher quality. My husband is an experienced DIY guy and here are his complaints (echoing much of what others have said): Unfortunately Hunter didn't provide adequate fasteners for attaching the motor assembly to the pedestal. I provided my own. Then there was the ground wire that was too short to reach the screw...

It just ok compared to my old Hunter Dempsey(2008)

I replaced my old Hunter Dempsey fan i installed in 2008. From an install perspective, the instructions are clearly laid out but you will not know if the fan/light are functional until you complete the entire install process. In my case, the remote receiver was bad and the fan would not turn on. This meant you had to completely disassemble the fan and troubleshoot what’s going on. I had a 2nd receiver i used from a 2nd fan i’d bought for another room that i used to correct the issue. Please not...

A little bit of a pain using tiny screws and washers to attach the blades. I like the fan except for the hum at medium speed

Sleek and up to date look. Works well. I was worried it wouldn't move as much air without a standoff post, but nice.

Overall Good, Remote Works Inconsistently

The only concern which earned it 4 Stars vs 5 was the inconsistency in how the remote works. I have replaced the battery that came with a new fresh version with no noticeable difference. Is their a special way to position the transponder ?

Loud Humming Noise

I have 5 hunter ceiling fans and this fan is the only one that hums very loudly. To make matters worse it is installed in my master bedroom and it keeps me up at night.

Product Review

Yes the second fan I received works satisfactory, but the hours I've spent going up and down a ladder first to install then second to attempt to diagnose and repair and the third to remove and replace the defective unit. Your quality is not what I expected or paid for. The fact that your 800 number sent me prepared documentation tells me this happens a lot.

Not suitable for lighting a room

The light level from this fan is too low, I will be replacing it.
