Excellent Fan

I didn't have to do any balancing of the blades, it is very quiet at all speeds, Installation went smoothly.

SECOND REPLACEMENT

I PURCHASED FIVE OF THESE IN JULY 2017; ONE IN MY OFFICE WAS REPLACED IN JANUARY 2020 (IT JUST STOPPED WORKING). THIS ONE, PURCHASED IN SEPTEMBER 2020, IS AREPLACEMENT **AGAIN** BECAUSE IT NO LONGER WORKED ON *HIGH* AND IT MADE AN IRRITATING NOISE - CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK - AS THE FAN TURNED. I WANT TO KEEP ALL THE CEILING FANS IN THIS HOUSE THE SAME, SO I AM STUCK CONTINUALLY ORDERING THE SAME MODEL, IN HOPES THAT *ONE* OF THEM WILL CONTINUE TO WORK FOR A FEW YEARS.

Smells like it’s burning up!

Had this fan installed 2 days ago. Quite and moves the air. Only issues is when it’s on high you can smell the motor! I would say yeah it’s new maybe it is breaking in and this will go away after a couple of days.

loud ans the lights flicker

This fan isnt quite at all. I have changed the bulbs and they still flicker. Its so annoying. Have had this fan 3 years. Would not purchase again.

Great product, Moves air, Quiet

As the others have mentioned, this fan dose what it is supposed to do in moving air around and it is very quiet. The only down side are the installation instructions. Many parts that are not identified in the instructions. Bags are not marked to link to the instructions and I have parts left over that I don't know where they go or what function they had in this product. Instructions are poorly marked for the inexperienced homeowner who wants to install this themselves.

Great fan but light kit broke

I love This fan. It matches my decor, is quiet in my opinion, and gave off good light. However, a year and half after I purchased The fan the light kit quit working. I called Hunter and they told me the replacement part I needed. It would be at my expense because the warranty was only for one year. I feel They should stand behind their product, this is a known defect- look it up. I was/am still willing to buy the replacement light kit but it is out of stock and has been for 6 months. Loud internal noise after only 1.5 years old

As stated in review title. I made sure blades were tight and secure. Checked balance and fan runs smooth as silk, with no vibrations. Sounds like an internal bearing noise that is less evident when first turning fan on. It starts with clicking and later sounds like a rubbing noise,. The noise gets louder after fan has been running 30-40 minutes. The noise has been worsening over the last several weeks and must be replaced. Installed 14 of this Regalia Model...

I have installed 14 of this Regalia Model Fan in my homes over the course of the last 8-years. I rellay like the cabin-type wood look of the fan blade. I have them in my home at Lake Tahoe and my home in SoCal. Over the years, I have had about 4 of them be extremely noisy right out of the box. But not to worry, Hunter is a great brand... You would call, let them hear the noise over the phone, give them some coded sequence of numbered codes from the top of the fan and they ship you a new one...

Disappointing fan, terrible service

This fan came recommended. I purchased it, hired an electrician to install it and was incredibly disappointed. Even on the highest setting it didn't put out as much air as the smaller fan I replaced it with. I contacted Hunter and was floored at the lack of customer service. Their response was basically I needed a new fan. I expected so much more from a highly recommended company and such an expensive fan. I'll be purchasing a Harbor Breeze fan.

Terrible fan for every day use.

If you want a fan that'll last for 3years this is the fan for you! The motor went out twice in the time of having it in my living room along with the panel peeling off of the blades (which I don't even know how that happens. Very disappointed in this item esp w the money i spent thinking it would be a good ceiling fan/light for my living room.

Bad costumer service

My light went out so I tried to reach Hunter, by email to get help getting it fix. But they never answered back. I bought several for my house but this one my bulbs went out first time and didn't work anymore.

Defective Product needs recall

I've had this fan for just over 2yrs and inexplicably the wiring harness went bad.

Hunter Regalia II 60-in Satin crap

Had this less than a year and the light pull chain does not work and the ceiling fan stopped working also the way you have to run the pull chain adds tension which makes it harder on the switch and makes it wear out faster.

Beautiful and quiet!

blown internal wires

I put this fan in my bedroom and it was very great. At first... then only after a few months after instalation the lights blow out. I replace the lights to no avail. So i pulled the wiring down and tested it with a fluke and sure enogh the wiring was blow internally. Nothing to do with the instalation wiring. Next fan will denfently not be a Hunter!

had to return. wont buy a hunter again

I was rrplacing a 11 year old craftmade. This is a good looking fan, but the motor hummed, the light rattled and it made the chemical smell (only when running). I put zip ties around the light fixture and finslly got it to quiet down, but thats when we noticed the smell. It also didnt move alot of air for a 60” fan. Its a pita to take a fan down to return but i did. Bought a $40 dollar cheaper craftmade and it is completly silent. I will never buy a hunter again.

There is a reason why it is so quiet..

This fan was purchased two years ago and so far it has held up nicely. I'd recommend replacing the light bulb with a brighter one as the one that comes with it is weak. I very bright LED bulbs in ours. Installation was easy, as I do all of this stuff myself. The fan is beautiful, it looks great, but there is a reason why it is so quiet. The fan produces little to no wind and does a poor job circulating air. If you owned a few of these in a room they might do well, or if this is placed in a bedro...
