Light Kit not as specified

The fan is great, but the specifications said that the light kit had three bulbs. However, it actually only has two bulbs, which means my living room is now very poorly lit. Now I am going to have to add more lighting to the room.

Not a well made Hunter - problems

It is a quiet fan, difficult install- machined screws difficult to work with. Doesn't move as much air as I had hoped. Not the usual Hunter quality

Not the quality I expected

I'm a senior in my 70's and have installed at least a dozen Hunter fans in my homes. This Hunter is Not the same quality as earlier generations of Hunter fans that have lasted decades.The fan is quiet not silent. At highest speed the wobble almost tears it from the ceiling- medium and low speeds are smoother-never have I experienced this previously with any ceiling fan. The machined screws are hard to work with. Forget this model, buy something else.

Fan blades are kind of tricky to install.

Install was pretty easy. Took about 1.5 to 2 hours simply because I wanted to make sure I had the right wiring capped. This thing pumps out major air. If you’re looking to cool off a big living room this is the fan for you. We use the 2nd fastest setting and that is more than enough to keep the air moving. The fastest speed really gets things moving if you just came from outside.

Check all parts for damage

The globe was Brocken and I did not realize that until after installed so trying to get lowes to replace

Moves adequate air and easy to install. Like led lights

Does not last

It lasted 4 years and 8 months. The motor is making some terrible grinding noises. It has a limited lifetime warranty so going to see if they will repair or replace motor. I’ll come back to report afterwards. It was easy to install and worked great and quiet when it was working.

Choose something else

I bought the Regalia 2 that is manufactured by Hunter. I've been installing fans for 40 years and Hunter has been the class of the industry for most of that time. After this experience I will never buy a Hunter fan again and here's why... The glass globe is held up by a flimsy piece of plastic. The cost of the fan here locally is $159.98 a fair amount for a ceiling fan. Let's do better Hunter.
