Ratings & Reviews for Hunter 52-in Downrod or Flush Mount With Light

Great, attractive, quiet fan

Have really enjoyed the fan. Cools the room great, is really quiet and is quite attractive. The only complaint I have is that my husband has already broken the glass light cover. He threw a shirt across the room to the dirty clothes basket, hit the pull strings that flipped up and hit the light cover and cracked it. They really should have plastic pull knob things instead of metal. Also, it doesn't come with a remote like other similar models of a different brand.

Quiet and stylish ceiling fan

Love this hunter fan EXCEPT the blades are only black or dark mahogany!!

Excellent fan with very good light kit.

This fan is easy to install, runs very quietly, and gives very good light because of 3 60 watt bulbs. If you already have an electrical box that safely supports a fan, you will be surprised how quickly you will be able to install this fan.

Loud Humming/Buzzing Noise

Well, so many other reviews talk about how quiet this fan is, I guess I got a dud. When the fan is on, it makes a loud buzzing or humming like a neon light. I can't recommend this product (although it does look really nice). Also, I have no idea where they came up with the idea you could install this in 5 minutes...not real good marketing there (but hey, they got me). Don't buy this thing.

Good Value

I bought this because we wanted a fan in the master bedroom other than the kind that sit on a dresser and take up space this is very quite and moves enough air to make sleeping better without disturbing you. Installation was easy the instructions were very clear and easy to understand.

This fan has some innovative design, but is of average quality overall. For the price, I certainly recommend it. Some of the features of Hunter fans, do save steps and time. However, this 5 Minute Fan claim is nothing but hype. Even Hunter states that the installation of the mounting plate is not included in the time. I would also subtract such unnecessary steps as taking the fan out of the packaging, reading the instructions, going up and down the ladder, grabbing needed tools, and screwing in...

not powerful fan

Seriously...don't even waste your time with the Hunter 5-minute fans. Just installed 2 of them. These are super basic and have no power even on high. The high setting feels more like a med - low. Very disappointing!!! Now I have to get someone to take them down and put better ones in. NOT what you expect from Hunter fans.

Excellent fan at excellent price

Quiet, well-balanced, good looking, simple assembly & mounting. Loved the blade mounting; much easier than individual screws. Seems to be as good as the original Hunter's, and a LOT lighter in weight. Hopefully will last as long.

Beautiful Fan

The fan looked great in the store and even better once we installed it. The blades are reverseable with either a dark cherry on one side or black (which we chose to use) on the other. It was very easy to install. Followed the directions and they were dead on.

Beautiful fan! Runs quiet as typical of Hunter

The Hunter Waldon fan is an absolutely beautiful fan. Would highly recommend this fan.

love this fan, quite, sleek looking

Had great advice from the sales rep. , was more like a 30 min . install the box said 5 min.

Very easy assembly!

I have put ceiling fans together before and they were a nightmare! This was as easy as it comes - I installed 2 of them in 30 min!

GREAT ceiling fan with light

Love this fan. We put it in our kitchen. We recently installed a new stainless steel fridge, microwave and induction range. The fan just makes the kitchen look complete. Easy installation. The "5 minute" part... not so much. It took us less than an hour however. Love it !!

Amazing!

Such a quiet fan and so beautiful it is definitely amazing. Only gripe I would have is that it claims to be a "5 minute fan" and we all know how that goes. Overall I am ecstatic with this fan from Hunter would recommend to anyone.
