Easy Install & Configurable
Would RecommendEasy to install and configurable. Replaced a smaller weatherproof box originally installed by home builder. Very easy to install this new cover and configure it for my situation. Now the two plugs fix inside the box and I can close it to seal out the weather!

Deep enough to add a smart plug
Would RecommendNeeded an covered outdoor receptacle that was deep enough to fit a smart plug and a heavy-duty power cable. Replaced a MM420C that was not deep enough when I decided to use a smart plug. Works great and now I can control and schedule the pump from my phone.

Not pretty but it works
Would RecommendDon't waste your time with the "420" model. This one works much better for real life contractor grade cords as opposed to flimsy Christmas tree cords. Yes, it costs more but this unit is much more realistic and has better features than it's inexpensive sibling. I had NO problems with assembly and found using the side hinge option with the bottom open to be much better than the top hinge option. I could not get it to close and latch securely using the top hinge. The side hinge just works bet...

Cons: Screws are total garbage. Seriously, for $20 the vendor could spend an extra cent and do better.
