Super strong mount
Would RecommendI used it on an old work installation. house was built in 1965 and never had a ceiling fan in the living room. So after running power to the location I installed this mount. It was straight forward. Installed the four provided screws into the rafters. The screws have a 8mm head by the way. The wiring bushing snapped in securely and wire passed through as would be expected. Works great, easy install
Would RecommendWorked as intended. Very easy to install. Used to span 16" footer gap to hang fans. However, seems odd that the side plates are setup to accept 8 or more nails/screws to attach to joists, but the main box is still only held to the rails by 2 tiny metal screws.
