Pretty good pancake box for attaching to a beam. there are even 2 holes drilled below the included screws incase you use a longer screw so it does not bottom out.

Easy to in install. Works like it should. Have used this to install light fixtures on walls and ceilings. Mounting to a stud or joist allows for heavier fixtures to be used.
