What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this ceiling fan and light mounting box for its exceptional strength and ease of installation. Most highlight the stud-mounted, saddle-clamp design that securely anchors heavy fixtures directly to joists, describing it as far more stable than traditional nail-in boxes. Many report installation is quick and intuitive, requiring no professional help. Reviewers appreciate its versatility for ceiling fans, wall sconces, and lights, especially when fixture placement conflicts with stud location. A few note the U-shaped design slightly reduces internal wire space, and rare fit issues occur with non-standard joists. Overall, customers consider it a reliable, secure solution worth the investment.

I went to other stores looking for this specific piece and they didn't have it. Lowes on Craig & Losee never disappoints 😊

Felt weird to have a plastic ceiling box rated for a fan, but didn't end up needing a saddle box.

Earthquake rated
Would Not RecommendI was stunned at the performance of these mounts. It got rid of the wobble from the ceiling fan and far exceeded the normal joist brace mount. Highly recommended.

Much easier than the alternatives
Would RecommendI love this style of mounting box. It feels much more sturdy than the other styles of mounting boxes. Just be aware that because of its u shaped design, there is slightly less space for tucking wires. Easy fix with smaller wire nuts.
Sturdy and easy
Would RecommendEasy to install. Sturdy enough for a fan.
