Would RecommendThis fan box is super easy to install says this grandmother. All the work except getting wire to the box can be done from below the ceiling on old work (existing ceiling) or new. Materials: The manufacturer provides all the needed screws, a wire connector, and a box cover plate, too. Would RecommendIf you’re replacing the light with a ceiling fan, I highly recommend using this box, if you have attic access. Depending on the age of the box you’re replacing, you may have to widen the hole.
