Would RecommendI had a mustard algae outbreak and used a product to clear their algae. You couple that product with granulated chlorine (instead of liquid or tablets). The granules are easy to disperse throughout the pool in an even distribution. Worked like a charm!

Great for my hot tub
Would RecommendRunning low on my hot tub chlorine granules. I've been having trouble with the "old brand" and saw this HTH (which I trust) while at Lowe's. I bought it, I like it. It doesn't smell as strong as the other stuff. But it keeps the water as clean as the more concentrated stuff. The price was better than I expected also!!! I hesitated to buy 5 LB but now am glad I did.

Would Not RecommendExtremely disappointed. I have used this product before with no complaints. Decided to add tit to a pick-up. The attendant knew it was old by my look when I saw it. He said was stored outside and everything has the DUST. I purchased 2 and in 2 months could never get the algae out of the pool. The pool would look decent for a day the build back up. This chlorine works great.
Would RecommendIt works great. Useful for large pools. I have a 12’x 24’ and I apply about 2 pounds a week to keep the chlorine levels up. No algae. I also use the vinyl cover to keep the sunlight out. If I leave the cover off I have to double the amount used as the sunlight degrades the chlorine. Just stir the pool after applying.
