Would RecommendOnly 4 stars, did not do what I wanted it to do on a specific piece. This was my fault, I didn't test the finish on the piece I wanted to repair the way it was recommended. I'm sure it will do the job it was designed for. I have used several of their other products with great results.

Would RecommendI used this Restor-a-finish on about 10 different pieces of old furniture that were about to get thrown out in the trash. Charities wouldn't accept them with the surfaces in such bad shape, but I didn't have the time or money to refinish them. I used Mahogany (which is dark reddish color) on some pieces, and Dark Walnut (which is dark brown) on other pieces. Since the furniture was so beat up, I used very fine steel wool to work it in to the spots. Some scratches and white water marks disappeare...
