Would RecommendI needed 16 of these T nusts for my project. I think I could only find 10 at Lowe's so had to drive across town to another store to get the amount I needed. I have found this problem many times with some specialty items at Lowe's. This is the one "black mark" I have for Lowe's.

Would RecommendUsed in a wooden knob - attached to a 10-24 screw. Countersunk hole to compensate for backing plate depth and epoxied in for good measure. Works great.

Weak, break and do not stay in
Would Not RecommendPrior to opening these one of the prongs were already broke. They also do not stay in anything all. With zero force they will simple fall out the wood. Avoid using these for anything you care about.

Garbage
Would Not RecommendI got these to use to mount speakers to a baffle wall. Inserted them with hand tools, and they mounted fine. When I spin the screw out of the inside, all the teeth shear off, and it just spins. Just spent two hours grinding heads off the screws next to a 300 dollar speaker. This is junk hardware made from the cheapest materials imaginable.
