What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these springs for exceptional reliability and durability across diverse applications—from doors and recliners to outdoor equipment. Reviewers consistently describe them as sturdy, heavy-duty solutions that restore functionality and provide just the right tension. Many highlight straightforward installation and appreciate the wide variety of sizes available, noting successful replacements after years of wear. A few mention tension occasionally runs weak for certain doors or that end hooks required bending to fit, but these rare concerns are vastly outweighed by strong overall satisfaction and performance.

I don't claim to be the smartest cookie in the jar, but I needed to figure out how to put/connect a spring back together that was broken on my rocker recliner chair. I threaded one hook side of the Extension Spring to the short end of the broken coil/spring, then pulled the Extension Spring over to the larger broken piece of coil/spring and threaded the other end. Voila! Put together and now am able to resume use of the rocker recliner. Thank you.
Uniform springiness, smooth finish
Would RecommendI am using this to help me heat bend plastic tubing, and not as a spring. The metal finish is smooth, and doesn't scratch the tubing. It bends uniformly without kinking, and is uniformly springy. Anchor loops on the ends are sturdy and well-formed.
What are the specs?
Would Not RecommendThe description says "Please consider the rate per inch and max load-in when choosing a spring." However, nowhere in the description or specs or anywhere on the page does it show the rate per inch or max load. Jeez

It is an extension spring, works great.
Would RecommendI used this spring to keep a swinging door shut. It was easy to mount and did a great job on the lightweight door.
