Washer with split in it
Would RecommendLock washer worked well. It has a split in it and slightly twisted to apply pressure to nut so it doesnt back out. It has a hole in the middle for a bolt to go through and strong enough to get the job done. Finish was nice. Working well for my project so far and don't expect any problems from it later on

I am very disappointed in Lowes, a hardware store? I ordered 8mm internal tooth star lock washer, I am a retired engineer and I have never found that a washer is sized by the outside diameter. The washers I revived was 8mm on the outside not the Inside diameter. I do not see how this washer will fit on the 8mm bolt that I wanted!!! Please get someone that knows how to list Washers!!!!
