Would RecommendI used to to duplicate a balister design on an existing set of handrails, It is strong, and easily cut to length with a hacksaw blade. It is one of the few places you can purchase a limited length for such a task without purchasing much longer lengths from base metal tubing vendors on the web, and much easier to transport to the job.

If project is to be strong, check wall thickness
Would RecommendI shop at Lowe's often and seldom have issues. Two of the walls of this product are about half the thickness of the opposing walls.My project did not require a lot of strength. The project metal, especially the aluminum is scuffed and dinged requiring sanding and polishing.
