Would RecommendThis Square tube was purchased as an extension lever for craftsman wrench. Its strength was more than adequage and did not deform with the maximum pressure 80 pounds on one end while slipped over the cresent wrench boxed wrench end. All perforated holes are pecision made without barbs or intrusion into the internal space.

Would RecommendI tried using the "Hillman 3/8-in x 1/2-in Plain Steel Standard (SAE) Flat Washer Item #137133 Model #880418" and the "Hillman 3/8-in x 1/2-in x 1-in Seamless Steel Spacer Item #137132 Model #880417" but those didn't work for making 3/8in I.D. drill guides because they actually have a barely noticeable inner flange / lip so they're not 3/8in all the way through the inside. Would RecommendBought it to build a trailer hitch for my Toro Z4200 but that only took 6". Since then 2 10" pieces went for clamp supports under my welding table, an issue I've been dealing with for 8 years. Still have 9 & 3/4" for whatever comes up. It is fairly expensive but steel supply businesses usually have a $100.00 minimum purchase. I noticed in the reviews that someone else purchased this product for the same reason I did. I hope he is as pleased with his Toro hitch as I am. Thanks Ed

not 11 gage or 1/8in wall thickness
Would Recommendbought today used today! correct size is .625 thickness or 16 gage not 1/8 in .125 11 gage as clamed!. it is weldable with mig or tig [ USE GAS welders ONLY! ] thin! .23 or ,25 wire needed. I welded with it with a mig on [ low amps!] that why I only gave it a 4 rating! because of the wall thickness!

Good but not perfect
Overall a four because none of the Lowe's 1/2 inch bronze or steel bushings slide on it or even fit on. Had to use emory cloth (very fine sand paper for metal) to bring diameter down to 0.5 inches. The two rods I purchased were very straight and rolled across the table without having a gap between them. Strong and light weight.

Would Not RecommendI ordered this square tubing online and went to the Pasco, WA Lowes to pick it up. When the Associate brought it out, I noticed right away that the tubing thickness was not 1/8" (i.e., 11 gauge). Instead, it is approximately 1/16" thick! The online description and specification are incorrect. I had to have Lowe's remove the item from my order because it was useless for my application.
