Were used to softly light up tree canopy and also patio area. Were so attractive and worked so well will leave installed. Ideal adequate but not glaring illumination. Bulbs do not (over)heat.

Brought them home and took them out to my deck, screwed in the bulbs. I thought, "These actually seem pretty solid." Then I plugged them in. They lit up for a split second then died. Yes, I know, they have a fuse in them. I should look into switching out the fuse. But....even if switching out the fuse made them work for a day or two, or ev...
