Nice while it lasted

After just under 2 years, the remote quit working. Guess I'm stuck replacing the whole thing since the warranty is only 1 year. Shame too, since I now have to junk an otherwise perfectly fine fan over an irreplacible remote receiver.

My need a longer extension rod

Fan was easy to assemble and hang / we did need a longer extension rod thasn what was provided. It looks great in our screened in porch and fan is very quiet

Remote Control Module not Replaceable

I did a little better than Melissa - mine lasted 3 years. The receiver for the remote control is integrated, so when it developed a problem, it couldn’t be replaced and I’m *having to buy a whole new fan*. Wasted time and money trying to use the “Universal” Harbor Breeze remote/receiver. Stay away from this one.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

After 2 years, my remote quit working. Know that Harbor Breeze has no available manufacturer customer service. Period. Nonexistent. All available numbers call Lowe's where you speak with non-USA customer service that have no idea how to get any replacement remote to work, even the ones made by the same company. Note the number of bad reviews that all refer to issues with remotes. There is no other way to work these fans, so if the remote quits, you have to buy a whole new fan and pay for an...

Wet rated

The fan is attractive, silent, and one of the rare “wet rated” fans available, as well as being reasonably priced. The one negative is that even on the highest setting it does not move much air, thus the 3-star rating.

Loud

Don’t like how you can hear the motor from this fan. I bought a cheaper fan and it’s silent.

Remote not working on Harbor Breeze ceiling fan

I’m very disappointed/ dissatisfied with the customer service I was told to pay an electrician to take doe the ceiling fan to return it because the company do not have a remote to send/ replace.

Great fan / light combo

This fan was well packaged and is made of quality parts. Installation was a breeze and all the parts were included. The fan requires the use of the remote if you want to turn the light on / off separately - there isn't an easy way to wire the light to a separate light switch.

A good looking 52inch matte black ceiling fan/light. The fan has the basic features like reversible and 3 speeds also a dimmable light that is controlled by a basic remote control. The light is capable of 2000 lumens and 3000k color temperature. It also can be used indoors or outdoors.

Great outdoor fan

I like the remote controlled fans that don’t require that extra module to try and jam above the mounting bracket. Install was easy. Manual was detailed and fan blades have a rib on the top side to help stiffen. I’m working on a screened porch and this will be a great addition.

Fan is Fantastic

Fan is fantastic. So eat to install. Love the love. The light is nice and bright. I’ve never had an issue with Harbor Breeze. I would recommend this to everyone.

Love this fan. I especially like the color (a deep matte black). The only complaint I have is the cover for the light is plastic, but that is so it comes off easier.

Beautiful Light

This is a beautiful light. Right out of the box you can tell that it is well made. It was very easy to install (about an hour.) All the connections are water proof, so it will be just fine outside. The fan is very quit, you can't hear it spin. I love the remote to control the light and the fan, and the LED light is very bright.

Installation was very easy. I was able to utilize the existing mounting bracket which from there was just ensuring the part are installed in the correct order, wires connected and everything tightened. For my install, the canopy diameter is not as large as the existing opening so there is some Sheetrock cuts showing. I’m looking for an aftermarket trim piece to put up to cover the hole, if I can’t find one I’ll probably do some heavy caulking so it hides the edges…not ideal, but those are my ...

Solid Fan with Good Features

Overall this fan is a solid option with good features. The LED light is very bright and illuminates the entire room really well. The matte black finish gives a great modern touch as well. The included remote is also good, and provides the ability to adjust from either the wall mounted position or anywhere in the room. Overall, a solid fan for residential use.
