Would RecommendThey were easy toInstall and they like the bottom steps so I stop missing it
Almost a decent light but doesn’t securely close.
Would Not RecommendThe light and battery slide down too easy. We used ours on a gated entry and the vibrations cause the battery and led to slide down out of the brown frame. Poor design flaw.

Returning
Would Not RecommendI had two lights out in the sun for 3 days. One would only light for 2 hours. The other lasted 3 hours and then as the battery was giving up it would start flashing. I like the idea behind them, just cheap China junk.
Good Light, Short Duration
Would RecommendNeeded some light on my RV steps and these do the job. I did not permanently mount then but they did cling to the carpet. Nice bright light and can now see the steps clearly. The biggest negative is the duration. Had to walk the dogs at 3 in the morning and the lights are already out. I would consider them great mood lighting, but not something that would last all night, especially in the winter.
Do not run very long after dark
Would Not RecommendPerfect for lighting my curved driveway and outdoor stairs, but original Ni-Cd batteries lasted about 1-2 hours after full charge in bright sunlight. Both pairs I purchased did the same. I replaced those batteries with Ni-MH and now they last 4-5 hours after a days charge. I should have opted for lights with motion activation or larger solar cells.

STUPID STUPID STUPID
Would Not RecommendWhen I took these out of the box I hear Goober from The Andy Griffith show saying the title of this review. Whoever designed these lights got some bad mushrooms on their pizza. Do they work and light up. Yep. So why is this a negative review? 1) If you want the solar panel to actually get sun you would have to mount these on top of the stair tread. Installed thusly it would likely cause a person to step on the solar panel, either destroying the panel or tripping and falling down the stairs (or ...
Not 8 hours of light
Would Not RecommendI have had these mounted on my deck step handrails for a week now. The sun set at 5:21pm and they were out at 8pm. I bought 2 of these which I will be returning. I gave it 2 stars since it does light up the steps well enough to see when they work.
Deck Light Duo
Would Recommendthese are small. but put out adequate light going up steps. Would have liked a little brighter, but.... Appear to be sturdy enough as long as they are not man-handled. I would probably purchase another set
Inexpensive exterior deck or stairs solar lighting
Would RecommendGreat for illuminating an exterior deck or stairs. It comes on at dusk and stays on until morning or the battery is exhausted. I feel it would be improved if it didn't come on until motion was sensed in close proximity after dusk or while it's dark.
great light output
Would RecommendThe 2-Pack Portfolio Solar Deck Light 2.4-Lumen Black Solar LED Outdoor Rail Light (3500 K) has great light output right out of the package. Installation and operation is a no brainer. It does provide good spot illumination for certain areas of my patio.
Not as good as expected
Would Not RecommendInitially I was going to give these lamps 1 star. However, after tinkering a bit I will go to 3 stars. First, the lamps were 2 different brightness out of the box. Second, it seems like the photocells need "direct" sunlight to charge fully. Day 1 I had them on the dashboard of my car. Possibly the factory UV block in the windshield did not allow enough light to charge the lights. I only got 1 hour of light the first night. Day 2 I charged on my screened in patio. I got 2 hours that night. Day 3 ...
Easy to install
Would RecommendI was able to set the deck lights directly on the pool cage rail. In full sun they were charged by the second day. As you can see by the photos they up the immediate area. If you installed one every 3-4 feet you would get better illumination. Time will tell the life and durability of the light.
Very bright, smaller than expected
Would RecommendThese are a lot smaller than I expected. When the box arrived I wondered what I had ordered. With that said, they are very easy to install, everything was included. They are very bright, and that makes me happy.
Nice accent light with no wiring
Would RecommendNice accent light fully charges during day and provides nice accent lighting at night. Light case slides down to easily access the rechargeable battery (see pic) without dismounting the light.
Nice small solar lights
Would RecommendI really like the L shape design of these lights that put the solar panel on the top edge. I put them on my pool cage to test and they worked great as my pool cage gets plenty of sun. After a full day of sun light (sunny day in FL). They lasted about 5 hours (about 6pm-11pm in the winter). I really wanted to put them on my kids swing set which is mostly shade. Unfortunately they lights did not get enough sun. I checked about 7pm one day and the light was already off, I'm not sure if it e...
