Would RecommendFence works great to keep dirt from washing away in a storm. One stake was cracked but still usable. Helps if there are two people installing it. Used a sledge hammer to put it in the ground and all the stakes held up to the hammering.

Quality control issues
I brought this home and unrolled it. One post was missing and the material was shredded for several feet on either side. One post was crooked as a dogs hind leg and nearly impossible to drive into the ground. There were other torn areas in the material that were patched with some sort of clear tape. If it wasn't so clean and wrapped neatly, I'd swear it was used. Since the nearest Lowe's is 1.5 hours away, I added some posts and used it. It worked fine.
