No Grass visible after 1 week

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No grass yet .... been watering 2-3 times per day just like the instructions, and a week later - nothing.

Easy to install-so far so good!

The seed blanket was easy to roll out, cut, and install, and it seems to be staying in place well so far. The material feels sturdy enough to protect the seed and help retain moisture without being overly bulky. I just installed it, so I’m still waiting to see how well the grass comes in, but my initial impression is positive. Four stars for now, with the potential for five depending on the final results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item came in a box about one and 1/2 x 4. It was lightweight. It was a roll that was very light. The instructions could’ve been a little better in. How are you use it it was a roll of grass seed and all you had to do is just water it. I had an edge of my deck that needed to be seated so I put black dirt down and rolled out the grass seed as much as I needed in that area, which took up probably half the roll and then I just but I just water...

Should have bought regular sod!

Not good at all. He didn’t grow just fell apart mainly when I watered it.

No sprouts yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to roll out and water. So far no sprouts yet and it’s been almost a week keeping it wet. Getting discouraged. Also the area estimator was way off and now I need almost another full roll of the pro. Wish the estimator was more accurate cause now there’s no discount if I order more. Waiting to order more to see if any grass even sprouts. Discouraged…

Not worth the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am watering twice a day with an irrigation system, and It has rained in between those times. The trax are not producing anything. They look like died toilet paper.

Only thing growing is your frustration

Ground dampened, watered in during installation. Overlapped edges. Watered on timer every 6 hours (still scheduled). Result? Zero. Nothing. Nada. Nil. I chose seed type for the environment. Im thorough and detailed. The seed layed in adjoining area sprouted in 5 days. Going on 2 weeks, nothing yet from this wonder product. Yeah, you'll wonder if you wasted your time and money. You did. You could throw down loose seed and cover it with toilet paper and still achieve better results. If you...

Spot treatment made a breeze!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Never used grassseed like this before but I will never go back to traditional! We had a bald spot on our lawn where our kids sandbox used to be. Threw this down, followed directions for care and watering and within a few weeks we had baby grass growing! The grass has held up well from all the recent downpours, which would normally wash away other seed. Will purchase again!

Does not work at all

Absolutely love this product

I’m am so happy with the results of my growtrax pro, we saw grass beginning to sprout and grow within a week, and now it’s been about 3 weeks and the results are amazing.

Be prepared to waste water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product doesn't work. The mat lifts the seeds and requires watering down every hour. I tried in 3 spots, one bare soil, the other two, sparse grass to fill in. Sod is instant grass and cheaper! I should have just dug this out! The amount of time and water needed and after 2 weeks the mat is there and there is nothing growing.

The grass started to sprout within 5 days and 7 days the grass is very visible and about 1 1/2” to 2 “ high. Not better than using just seed

It was easy to apply, but it doesn't grow grass any faster or better than grass seed alone and starts to look sloppy the wetter it gets. Also not a great product to put where your pets walk as if it gets walked on it deteriorates faster

Easy to use

Just put down after some sidewalk work amd I am excited to see it start to grow!
