Countersinking screws that don’t grab
Would Not RecommendThese GRK #8 x 1-1/2-in screws are pretty and seem to be well made but, these screws don’t pull two boards together very well at all. I put some very good, Tite-Bond III, glue on a couple of 1x6 pine boards and tried to pull them together with the GRK screws. Epic FAIL. I had to get a clamp and press the boards together.

legit screws
Would Recommendthese screws are legit.the bit that came in the box fits perfect and the screws are durable. Much better than Performance Pro screws which the screw head was cut too shallow and the bit consistently slipped out of.

Would RecommendThis brand of screws are simply the best I have ever used. They provide great self-drilling and hold extremely firmly. The provided drill head attachment ensures a very tight fit. I have not stripped a single one of these screws.

Good Wood Screws
Would RecommendUsed these screws to tighten down subfloor to get rid of squeaks, and also at edges of floating engineered wood floor to keep it from shifting. Worked very well. I especially liked the star design head which kept the screws from stripping.
