#8 x 2-in Countersinking-Head Polymer-Coated Star-

#8 x 2" screws comes with its own star drive head to work with a drill. I used a cordless drill to put up 3 sections of 2 x 4 and picket boards, They went in with ease on the pressure treated lumber with zero head strip outs. I would recommend these screws to anyone.

Deck Screws

I really like the star drive. It's so much better than the cross head drive. The Star drive is more stablehand doesn't jump out of the head like the cross head drive does. I will be buys this stile screw from now on.

These screws come with the bit needed and are very easy to use.

Work as Advertised

Screws do a good job of penetrating the wood to start and grab the wood with good holding strength. No just have to see if they last long. 2 years and counting to far

Nothing like screwing things together rather than nails. These are especially coated for exterior use and the torque head makes for easy secure work.

Countersinking-Head Polymer-Coated Star-Drive Deck

I love these things!!! They are so much easier to use than the drywall and deck screws I've used for years. I hope the price comes down so I can switch to using them exclusively.

Deck Screws

Excellent for exterior decking. I used the same time of screws three years ago and when I repaired a few boards this year, many of the screws I took out, were still intact.

Worked Well

I used these (and some treated lumber) to build a couple plant stands. They were very easy to use. I liked the necessary bit being included in the box as well as an approximate screw count on the labelling.

Nice Deck Screw

As with most deck screws these days the design is pretty good. I only use the "star" design for my building projects. The only CON I have is the bit. It is very short and of a poor quality material. The bit quickly wore out long before I was finished using it. I had to stop my project and go purchase another one. The price for these screws is very high. Be prepared for that.

good screw for treated lumber

The only drawback is the bit changes to a #20 star for the 2 inch. This is the size that moves down from the #25. Haven't had a problem with the screw and I have run many thousands through decking as well a 2x10 for full dimention decking. I use 2.5 and 3.5 most of the time and use these for low clearance . never had one snap. Maybe 1 of 10000 has a bad star that is not fully recessed. If these are snapping on you...it's your driver or the way you are using it.

these are great screws for any purpose.

Holding power is perfect.

First box picked up, noticed bit was missing however the hardware department was very helpful. The 5lbs box was out of reach for my 5 foot frame.

Better Torque

This product worked amazingly well. Much better torque than Phillips heads.They are a little pricey but a lot less frustrating than stripped screw heads. Star drive will be my "go to" for screws from now on.

I hardly ever buy nails.

Screws go in as easy or easier than nails and come out easier.
