Would RecommendThis is an impressive screw because it torques down tight on decks using the star screw head (comes with it) and has course threads which grab quick and hold permanently. I bought these after trying a different star head screw that the head kept stripping out on. These are solid.

Would RecommendLike the concept of the star bit but getting the bit to fit snuggly in the star hole doesn't always work so well. once you find a screw that fits it is great. I think the coating that is on the screw is the culprit. It seems to impede the bit/screw head connection.
