Would RecommendI wish this screw design had come out a long time ago! You don’t need to drill a pilot hole, as the design of the shank will bore as you drill. I also like the magnetic star bit that’s included (5 lb box) (not sure about the 1 lb box). You can dip the end of your drill w/bit, in the box of screws, and pull out with a new screw stuck to the end! Magnetic bits are the bee knees!!!

They don't draw in flush
Would Not RecommendThey are thicker than the 1.5" exterior screws I've used in the past but because of that, they don't have enough thread to draw into the wood so I have the problem where the head always sticks up and the screw just spins at that point.
