Ratings & Reviews for Fas-n-Tite 1-1/2-in Smooth Shank Electro-galvanized Roofing Nails 855 -Per Box

No complaints

Got the job done, good price. Bought a shed from Lowe's and this aided my assembly .

Well made nail

The points were even so they drive straight. The galvanization is even so they should stay rust-free.

Works lik it should!

Really hit the nail on the head with this purchase!

Good strong nails

These nails worked perfectly. None bent while nailing. Seemed to hold well.

just right

just what was needed to put the the siding on our outdoor building.

Securing shed sub-floor

I recently purchased a box of 1-1/2" roofing nails to secure 3/4" plywood to 2x6 floor joists in a shed that was built on an uneven concrete slab. I think they worked perfectly and make the shed much safer to utilize.

what things have come to

Roofing nails were always galvenized, not some elector plated thing. These nails are not heavy weight, they bend easy if you do not hit them square and being smooth I question how well they will hold in time. Its what we have today so thats what we use. Just not impressed

1 1/2" roofing nails

The product was of high quality and well packaged for both use and storage of leftovers. In my applied application ( installing vinyl siding) it worked well with good head size ( so the vinyl doesn't slip out) and a long shank (for good grip into the OSB sheathing).

roofing nails

I used these nails for vinyl siding install. they worked fine.

Too soft

I've bought a lot of Blue Hawk fastening products over the last few years and have been generally satisfied with them. Not so much with these nails. They simply don't do well. They easily bend when you're hammering them in. That's a pain because you then have to pull them back out. These might do well for a lighter application but there's no way I would want to use these to put shingles on again!

High quality roofing nails

I guess as far as roofing nails go, these are the best I've found. High quality, at an excellent price. Have done a good job holding my new shingles. Yet another part of my remodel that has been purchased at Lowes.

Not the best quality.

I wish I hadn't bought so many of these Blue Hawk roofing nails. The galvanized coating is very thin and has worn off a fair number of the nails so they are rusty right out of the box. Also, the heads are not as uniform as some other brands. On the positive, they don't bend easily and are easy to pound.
