What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this electric trimmer for powerful performance, quiet operation, and impressive battery life that handles full yards on a single charge. Most appreciate the switch from gas, citing ease of use, lightweight design, intuitive controls, and maintenance-free operation without exhaust fumes or noise. The shoulder strap effectively reduces fatigue during extended use. However, some customers report frustration with the bump feed mechanism, describing it as unreliable and prone to tangling, requiring frequent manual rethreading. A few mention difficulty finding replacement heads. Despite these issues, most reviewers consider the overall performance and convenience worthwhile.

Would RecommendI purchased the weedear about 3 months ago. One of the lightest and easy to maneuver weedeaters I have used. Its very powerful and easiest to clean. Easy as heck to restring as well. I highly recommend the Greenworks 80v Weedeater!Pretty easy for a 67 y/o man to operate.

Great alternative to gas power.
Would RecommendInstantly usable with a minimum of prep. Would have preferred precut strips to bump feed, but other than that functional, powerful trimmer.

Senior Citizen Appreciates Easier Lawn Work
Would RecommendI was always trying to get tangles untangled from my old trimmer. I needed a tool that lasted a long time on a battery charge and didn’t have string tangles. I waited for this tool most of my life. Thank you for saving this old man.[
