This Thing Is Beast

My old trimmer broke down a few weeks ago. I had switched from a battery trimmer years ago to a 2-cycle one. At the time, battery powered yard tools were quite inferior to their gas and oil counterparts. Well, that 2-cycle finally bit the dust. Excellent product

Superior to my old gas trimmer in every way. No more pulling the cord a dozen time to have it fire up, no fluid leaks. Push the button down and you’re good to go. Cuts everything down too. Went through very thick weeks on 1/3 of an acre with no effort. Should have switched to electric a long time ago.

Fantastic cordless string trimmer.

The 80V 2.0 battery lasts as long as I’m able to do my weed whacking. The tool and battery aren’t too heavy and easy to use.

Amazing

I absolutely love my 80v string trimmer. It is the my first Greenworks tool and I can not wait to purchase something else. The battery lasts as long as I do...we need a recharge at the same time! I won't share with my husband he loves to gas powered trimmer but I see the envy in his eyes when mine starts in a flash and off I go with no issues. 5 star all the way 1

Love this line!

Very pleased with the performance, although I haven’t used it much yet. It’s fairly heavy even with the strap, so I had to stop after a bit. It tears through vegetation with ease, and it seems easier to control than my little one was.

Go for it

The device works as advertised. While the twine weight or diameter is weaker than I typically use, the 095 cord was strong enough to do the mowing deed. Excellent machine!

I used to hate trimming.

I always hated trimming when it was part of my chores as a kid. It was noisy and awkward and took forever. This trimmer changed my mind. In a very short time, I've trimmed all around our raised beds, our many newly planted trees, and areas the mower can't get. The sound level is modest and the string lasts a really long time -- unlike the old days! This was a great purchase.

Eventhough it has weight to it, it is balanced.

Balanced for ease of cutting. I am a woman 5'4" and I use with ease. runs for quite a long time.

80V String trimmer

Works great! It has plenty of power to get the job done.

Great Little Machine

Easy to use, long battery life. It is heavier than my gas model, but did come with a shoulder strap. It came with only one battery; I'll be buying another one. I love that it has different attachments that can be bought for it. This was NOT a STOCK item; it took about 2-weeks to get it. I thought it was pricey, but for the voltage...it's a good deal.

small spooler, very difficult to feed more line.

The spooler holds about half of the line that my other trimmer holds. Also, bumping the spooler to feed additional line does not work very well. Most of the time I have to stop, take off the spooler, manually feed more line, then put it back on. No way I'm doing that all summer. I have many Greenworks products and this is the only one with which I am disappointed.
