Heavy and not very adjustable

Ordered and found this item to be very heavy with the battery. The strap helps but not easy to adjust. If the head of the trimmer was adjustable it would help. By the time I got it to where I could use it, I found I had to tilt it up so high the strap was useless. Make the string head adjustable.

I also have a 80volt blower, 21 inch mower and your 18 inch chainsaw. My customers love that I use battery powered tools. I love that I don’t have to carry around gasoline. I love that your tools are so much quieter and have less vibration. I highly recommend them every chance I get. I am just a single older woman...

Easy to operate

Terrible Product

Really disappointed. The spool is impossible to deal with. Line does not extend with a tap. Terrible for edging the sidewalk. Bad purchase.

greenworks pro trimmer

this trimmer is really nice. but its too heavy for alday use

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought the tool and charger as my first battery powered string trimmer. Used it for just a few moments but it seems it will work well for our small front and back yards.

String Does Not Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this trimmer two years ago and now avoid it entirely. The sting is impossible to load, never feeds out by itself and breaks off too fast when I feed it out manually. I bought it because I like the mower and wanted to match charging types. I HATE THIS TOOL!!!! Stay away.

Trimmer is great/Registration SUCKS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You’d think in 2025 for the top of the line tool you could find a QR code to shoot to register. But NOOoooopp!’ You have to get your magnifying glass out to read then type in the thousand digit* serial number and model. *exaggeration

Amazing tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this device five days ago and have used it nearly every day! The variable speed trigger enables the device to use less power (it seems) and can use continuously for nearly 30 minutes. The dual strings really knock things down very well.

Decent trimmer, poor battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trimmer is very slow to ramp up (takes 3-4 seconds to get to usable speed), but once there it's nice and powerful and trims well. Main complaint is battery. I have a pair of the 2.5AH batteries, advertised as giving up to 50 minutes use each. I'm lucky if I can get 10 minutes of continuous trimming before they are out of energy and need a 45 minute recharge. I don't know where the 50-minutes comes from; maybe walking around doing little touc...

Excited to try it

I just purchased a green works string trimmer to replace my current gas powered one. I’m very excited to try it. Been very pleased with the quality so far of Green works products.

They’ll figure the line feeder some day

A decent trimmer for sure. But a couple of seasons on now and the line won’t feed. Hours spent popping off the pieces and aligning arrows… but all to no avail now. .

Lightweight and powerful

It is doing a much better job than I expected and my gas weed eater will be kept only as a backup. This has so much power and the run time with even the smaller battery is pretty decent. I'll be investing in some larger ah batteries soon to extend run time. Great product.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super great trimmer! I love how easy it was to set up and no need for gas and oil. It is also very quiet and does a great job. It feels cheaply made, everything is a heavy plastic except the metal alloy shaft. It comes with a strap to help with the weight, which is nice because the battery is solid 10-15 lbs and acts as a counterweight.

Like the string trimmer

Lousy company - buy something else

I bought a Greenworks 60-volt string trimmer. after about 5 spool loads it stopped advancing the string. Their website is crappy and horrible customer support. It doesn't even list my model any more, so I can't get any help from them. Buy another brand.
