Fresh out of the box review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trimmer was easy to assemble and battery was fully charged within an hour. The trimmer did well at speed lower than my old gas trimmer. iI had plenty of power to cut the tougher weeds, and was a lot quieter than my gas trimmer. Bump feed head worked as expected.

Powerful

Extremely powerful, like the gas one I returned. I enjoy having my arm not be overheated and the battery lasts forever!

Great trimmer except the bump feed is terrible

Ive had mine for 2 summers now, I love everything about it except the bump feed. Its a double line bump feed but it doesnt have a separator between the two lines so they get tangled ALL.THE.TIME. I've re run the feed pretty much every use and no matter how I spool the thing, its always getting jammed. Greenworks has double line bump feeds with separators and oddly doesnt have one for this model - so I'd actually urge you guys to not get this one and to check for models that have accessory replac...

Value your time

Unless your lawn is small and only requires light trimming, this trimmer isn’t for you. I purchased several Greenworks 80V products expecting to mix and match batteries and get solid performance, but that hasn’t been the case. Electric tools like these just can’t compete with gas when it comes to power, reliability, and endurance. Greenworks products are exactly what you hope they aren’t: underpowered, made of cheap plastic, saddled with expensive proprietary parts, and plagued by short battery...

Great trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for over a year. I love it. It is a beast of a trimmer. My only issue is the weight, would not use without shoulder strap. I haven't bought any accessories yet but thinking about it. Awesome buy!

Great Power

I bought this to clear out some very over grown areas of my yard that my 28 volt greenworks weed eater could not handle well. This thing cut through like a hot knife through butter. It is a bit on the heavy side, but the strap helps a lot.

Great value with lots of power

What a great value on this string trimmer! We already had a snowblower and a leaf blower from Greenworks so we’re familiar with the brand. When our string trimmer died we decided it was time to go rechargeable. We already had 2 - 80 volt Greenworks batteries, so we only needed the trimmer. The trimmer was on sale so we were all in for less than $125 for this mighty machine.
