Looks great, doesn't last long
Would RecommendI purchased quite a few of these about 5 years ago to edge a walk way/patio I was installing. They looked great when I first installed them. But after about 5 years, they are rotting away and need to be replaced. At the price I paid for them, I could've installed stone edging that would've lasted forever. I've read some of the reviews about the metal spikes coming out. They do, but you can put them right back into the hole they came out of. Where I installed them there was a lot of grave...

Fell apart in less than 3 years!!!
Would Not RecommendI bought almost $100 worth of these with plans to do my whole yard and all my flowerbeds! I used them around two plants one in the flower bed where it was never touched by the weedeater and the other in the center of the yard. BOTH rotted and fell apart!!! I am extremely dissappointed with the longevity of this product!!! When you spend this much money you expect it to last for MANY years!!!
Good Start
I redid my flower beds, and used these for the edging. The way they come are just not enough support in the ground. You will need to reinforce the middle a bit. Just takes a bit of extra work, but the look and price of these make it bearable.
Log Edging for an Asian Garden
Would RecommendThe log edging from Lowe's is the perfect complement to the landscaping around our pond. The logs looked great as is, but to give it a more custom Asian-look, we looped black nylon cord around the tops. The one drawback is the inconsistency in quality. In one box of edging, the logs were nice and smooth. In another box, all the logs were rough, split, and not stained very well.

Nice, wooded look
Would RecommendWhile the edging is a little pricey, especially if you have a large area to cover, it is a much nicer look than most non-paver block edging on the market. It's easy to install and provides a nice, rustic, wooded look which is perfect if you have a property that borders the woods or open space. It blends nicely with the surroundings. I used these wood edging blocks to form the border of a 50' x 6' path that was filled with gravel. The only complaint is the blocks can be a little clumsy and fall o...

log edging
Would Not Recommendits flimsy and i had to constantly straighten it. the nails easily broke off.
didn't regret it.
Would Recommendi bought these to redo my front garden area, though you do need a lot even for a small area, they are very stable, easy to cut also to make the 90 degree turn, nail was a little flimbsy when staking it in the ground and hitting some hard clay it bent real easy but nothing you can't just turn back, product is easy to use, nice on the eyes, and very affordable, if your a high maintenance person who demands perfection maybe this aint your product, but at 4.47 per and real wood, you can't beat it, e...
Easy to install and looks great.
Would RecommendI read the review that was written by a person from Maryland, but this is what I found out. The ones I bought from Lowes are 16 inches long, while the ones from the Home Depot are 30 inches long. The difference in price is about 50 cents, but the spikes are placed near the ends which allows the wood to be flimsy. The shorter ones are more stable and still allows you to make very nice curves.
