I had the misfortune of intalling this by myself and the paper adhesive side is reminiscent of a visit from the inlaws. Lowe's had the absolute best price anywhere and you can't beat Grace. Don't skimp on it. Place it in every nook and crevice on your roof and you won't regret it. The best on the planet. And BTW, please don't let these roofers o put that sythentic "plastic tarp" underlayment on your brand new match stick house! Get REAL asphalt breathable 30lb felt like the days of old. Your roof will thank you 30 years later.

Would RecommendPut two courses of this on valleys and lower edges of entire 8:12 roof, then shingled over in Minnesota in 1989. Wanted to prevent any ice dam back up and leaks during our extreme winters, deep snow, and winter thaw periods. Worked like a charm AND STILL IS, 34 years later. Wasn't commonly used back then, but I brought rolls to the roofers to use and they seemed impressed by the product. I wouldn't do a roof without it. No leaks ever.
