This underlayment product is widely praised for its durability, strong adhesion, and ability to effectively protect against leaks and water damage. Key strengths include excellent adhesion, long-lasting performance, and relatively easy installation, though some users found the product challenging to work with at times. Would Not RecommendOriginal delivery date is now late and of no use. Will have to travel to go buy it elsewhere so my roofers have it when they come tomorrow morning. Worthless delivery promise Lowe’s is unreliable
Superb product
Excellent product to protect roofs when installing a new one! I have used it extensively in many areas to make sure my new standing seam metal roof never leaks. If using it on a hot day though, it can easily stick to itself if the sticky parts accidentally touch. I have ruined pieces that way. It's kind of like a giant roll of flex seal tape.

Northern Michigan Use
Would RecommendMany of these reviews are suspect. This product is very effective in our area BUT is not easy to install. I am not a pro builder, just a guy who does it myself. Do not, I repeat do not install this in direct sunlight. It is a great product in that it does self seal. Pro builders have told me it can sit uncovered for a year and I tested it, it's true. Perfect for quansit buildings under vinyl siding. Also the pros tell me it is ok to use it under metal roofs in our climate so I did put it under ...

Very easy to work with
Would RecommendI chose this ice and water shield based on seeing so many other people use it. It was really easy to use and Grace has a nice video tutorial on a couple ways of rolling it out. Just note that if its cooler than 40F it might not stick to the sheathing.
