What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this compact boombox for its clear, powerful sound quality and reliable CD playback that skips damaged tracks without freezing. The lightweight, portable design fits easily into small spaces and appeals to older adults and classroom users alike. Most appreciate the combination of CD, AM/FM radio, and auxiliary input in one affordable unit, with many calling it excellent value. The intuitive controls make operation effortless. A few note radio tuning lacks a frequency display and some report minor speaker buzz, but these minor drawbacks are far outweighed by strong overall satisfaction and core functionality.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit works as expected but instructions were not clear. E.g. the cd needed to be stopped to forward to different track. This would be considered part of the programming, and not intuitive. So read the instructions. They are short.

Nice tone
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have music on in my house…since most of what I own are CDs I purchased this as a replacement for the one that “died”. Would like to have gotten one with a tape player as well (yes, I’m that old, but one was not available.)

Very Swell Christmas Gift
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for Christmas from my girlfriend. Which allows me to finally put to use my immense CD collection. The radio included is a plus that allows me to listen to my Spanish stations. Only negative I have about it is this weird string coming out the some hole as the power cable.

Reliable and easy
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the GPX small radio/CD player for about two years now, and it’s held up impressively well. Despite being dropped a few times, it still in great shape and continues to work like new which surprised me. The functions are simple to use right out of the box. While the audio clarity isn’t exceptional, it's about what you’d expect from a compact, budget-friendly device. The sound is decent for casual listening, but not if you’re into high-en...

Terrible sound quality, and mislabled accessories
Would Not RecommendI have three issues with this (one of them is that the company does not accept returns): first: horrible sound quality. I played CDs on this, so I don't know about the radio, but the sound I got when playing a CD was horrible - tinny and buzzy and distorted, kind of like a kazoo. In addition to missing the better quality sound I hoped for, the sound I got was just irritating and painful to listen to. Second: the extra power cord I got with this was listed as a "related product," which I would e...
