What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this waterproofing tape for its exceptional strength, powerful adhesion, and reliable performance sealing leaks on household and outdoor repairs. Most highlight its extraordinary stickiness, thick construction, and durability, noting it outperforms competing products at a lower cost. Many successfully sealed air mattresses, roofs, trailers, and pool liners when surfaces were clean and dry, appreciating its clear finish. A few report the tape failed when applied underwater or on continuously wet surfaces, and some found its extreme stickiness challenging during application. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for dry-surface repairs.

Covered good
Not all that....
Would Not RecommendThe exterior of the tape is white, but the sticky part it grey. Additionally, I used this in hopes of sealing a partially split gutter. I cleaned the outside of the gutter thoroughly, but water still dripped. Disappointed.

Super-sticky tape
Would RecommendVery sticky, backing peels off as you work with it. Shows excellent adherence on epoxy-finished garage floor. We used it to cover (completely) poorly-adhering heavy duty duct tape marking a hazard zone. Will have some driving-over, not sure how it will hold up over time but the initial impression is very good.

Failed Product
Would Not RecommendPurchased this seal tape over the Flex Seal brand, because I assumed it would be better. I am trying to stop a leak in an inflatable hot tub, the leak is from a a single cat claw hole on the top, not underneath the water line. The gorilla tape seems to be hard to stick to the surface, I even used rubbing alcohol to prep the area before applying the tape. Once the tape it only last 12 to 24 hours before peeling off and leaking. Waste of money.

Gorilla Waterproofing Tape is EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!
Would Not RecommendThis tape is an excellent and exceptional waterproof solution for repairing the water reservoir of a Mastercool or any brand of single-inlet evaporative cooler, or for that matter, any cooler that has developed leaks from erosion or seams that have opened up in the water reservoir, The result of using this tape is the difference between replacing the cooler at $500 - &1000+ depending on type and size, or spending $15 for a 10' x 4" roll.
